Dublin City Public Libraries Online Photographic Exhibition

Dublin City Public Libraries’ Archives presents an online photographic collection inspired by Echoland.

These images illustrate some of the key scenes in Echoland and help provide a sense of the landscape against which the action takes place.

Irish Women and WW1

The exhibition draws on the collections of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers Association Archive and other material held at Dublin City Library & Archive to explore different aspects of womens’ experiences during World War 1 and how they were impacted by class, working life and political persuasion.

9th March – 28th April. (Closed 17th-19th March)

Monday to Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm. Closed Sunday.

‘Unsurrendered Spirits’

An exhibition based on the prison writings of Dorothy Macardle. It will concentrate in particular on the Earthbound, a collection of nine supernatural stories she wrote while a prisoner in Mountjoy Prison and Kilmainham Gaol
