"...there is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written." (Preface to Dorian Gray). On publication Wilde was accused of writing an inconsequential and immoral book. Wilde countered that it was a very moral book. Do you think debates on the morality or immorality of a book are still relevant today?
