Update, 9th April: Celebrating Dubliners in the National Concert Hall on Friday 13th April will now be dedicated to the memory of the late Barney McKenna, one of the original members of The Dubliners who passed away last Thursday 5th April. Barney's fellow Dubliners will lead the tributes on Friday night.

Friend of the group and fellow performer Noel O’Grady said, "This will be a fitting tribute to Barney and although this is a very sad time for the lads they will perform on Friday in his honour."

Dublin City Public Libraries extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the late Barney McKenna.
