Jonathan Harker's fictional journal entry for the night of 15 May is said to stem from a real- life nightmare of Stoker's. Can we learn anything from this regarding Stoker's own darkest fears and/or secrets? Can we take this into a wider context to discuss sexuality and sexual repression in Victorian society? Are there any further examples of this in the novel?
