Dublin City Council has received a commendation for "Dublin: One City, One Book 2009", a project which encourages an interest in reading and literature while raising awareness of the importance of blood donation.
"Dublin: One City, One Book" received an Arts and Culture Award at the Sixth Annual Excellence in Local Government Awards, which are run by Chambers Ireland.
